Birthday Dresses at my Girl's Party

It’s that time of the year again.  My girls birthday!  And it’s no secret what she wants as a present this year.  A beautiful dress.  She is like a broken record that little one… even if she has no idea what that expression means.  Gosh, I got old, didn’t I.  Anyway, little Esther is turning 8 and my other one, Millie is turning 72.  Of course, she’s a dog.  LOL y’all!   Ok, so we are having a big party for her this year.  All of her friends are coming.  She only has 2, the poor thing.  Anyway she decided that she wanted to dress up really special this year.  So we went online and did a huge internet search for something for her to wear.  And she came upon the perfect thing.  A girls birthday dress!

How apropos, don’t you think?  Believe me, the beauty of that was not lost on me or my partner, Jean Pierre.  We decided that it would be fun to stage a mini fashion show for all the girls at the party.  With chalk, we marked off a runway on the sidewalk.  Each girl would get a birthday dress for the event, and we blasted loud disco music, which is actually all we listen to anyway.   So I did my best Heidi Klum impersonation and we had our own Project Runway for the girls at the birthday party.  Each one really had fun strutting their stuff to the beat.  And oh the poses they made.  It was so hilarious to see everyone vogue.  Even Renaldo got into the fun.  Nevermind who he is.
