I didn’t see this coming, but perhaps I should have. My daughter can be a very literal at times. She was packing for a sleepover at a friend’s house who lives down the block. I wanted the child to prepare her bag herself, so that she can become a little more independent. She was worried about doing it herself, so I reassured my girl that should could do it, and that she should only pack the stuff that she absolutely needed. At 9pm, I received a phone call from her. She didn’t have her toothbrush or blanket or pajamas. In fact, the only thing she did bring was four pairs of girls capri leggings that she bought here. Capri leggings are very popular in our house because they are so versatile. My girl likes to wear them under dresses and skirts to stay warm, or all by themselves to gymnastics class. Sometimes she’ll even lounge around the house watching TV in them. So it’s understandable why she would think that’s all she needed. LOL!

It wasn’t a big deal. I just walked down the street and gave her the rest of her overnight belongings. But it did teach me a lesson in what she loved to wear. Clearly, capri leggings for girls were seen as absolutely essential to her. The reason why I found this helpful was now I could put them on my Christmas list of clothes to buy for her. As a mom, my life is pretty busy, so whatever makes it easier, right ladies?
Truthfully, shopping for my girls isn’t that tough because they have a favorite brand. TwirlyGirl. It doesn’t matter what I buy from them, they love. They practically collect the stuff! Aside from owner their girls capri leggings, they have several skirts, tops, dresses, and they each have a jacket. But we signed up on their mailing list, so we always get discounts and emails telling us about their sales. I’d say we make off pretty good from this company! And all of their items, including the capri leggings, are made in the USA. Sure, it costs a little more, but the fact that it’s so well made more than makes up for it. I am so tired of buying cheap clothing from big stores that just falls apart in the wash after 3 washings. That’s just a complete waste of money. You get what you pay for, I say. Also, each item of clothing comes with a really fun story describing it. So for girls capri leggings, you get a cute little backstory about how to wear them. My girls laughed when they read it. So unique and creative.
Here’s a link to TwirlyGirl’s website. They really have a great selection. Go for the capri leggings for girls, but stay for the Original Reversible Twirly Dress. That’s also a favorite around our house. You can get there just by clicking on this. Shop here.
