My wife and I went bird watching by the beach. We had never done it before, but a friend took us, promising it would be interesting and exhilarating. So we got a couple pairs of binoculars, some boots, and started wading through the tall grass where the fresh water tributary meets the salty ocean water. I gotta say, it wasn’t much fun. We saw a bunch of seagulls, an egret, maybe a pelican and a whole bunch of other winged creatures that I didn’t really care too much about. A couple hours into it, I feigned injury so my lady and I could return to the boardwalk and relax. We bought a couple of tropical drinks and took in the sun. Ten minutes into it, I spotted something spectacular in the distance. It wasn’t an egret, I can tell you that much. It was a girl wearing a maxi dress looking like this. Being something of a fashionista myself, I was struck by the beauty and elegance of this dress. It is both timeless and timely, it’s understated elegance both gorgeous and appropriate.
