July 4th: Happy Birthday America. Enjoy your dress, girl!

Posted on March 6 2013 by duncanfaber4

The fourth of a July is a fun and festive holiday for the whole family.  We get to celebrate the birth of a nation, our independence from colonization, and our democratic rights.  It’s a time for neighborhoods and communities to come together and have fun.  Part of this party celebration always involves fireworks.  It’s great to see the brilliant colors light up the night time sky.  Last year, however, we went to an event and no one was watching the sky rockets.  They had something even more dazzling that occupied their attention.  It was the birthday dress my little girl was wearing.

True, she wasn’t celebrating her birthday, but the birth of our great nation.  Nevertheless, she chose to wear the most brilliant, fun, and festive dress she could find.  We went on line and did a bunch of searches.  But the google search that proved to be most fruitful was the one we did for girls birthday dresses.  It took us to a website called TwirlyGirl.  They had the most incredible array and assortment of dresses.  The patterns were fun and vivid and the styles were original and beautiful.  Many of their dresses were reversible, so that girls actually get two dresses in one.  How awesome is that?

Also, all their dresses came with original stories that were very amusing to read.  It made the whole shopping experience feel more like a festive celebration.  What a unique way to market girls dresses!  Perhaps this is why everyone at the firework launching was more interested in admiring my girls dress, than they were at looking at the sky. Seriously, I was like people you’re missing the big show.  And they were like, no we’re not.  This is even better.

Then I had my little girl start dancing.  All the twirling and spinning really got their attention.  Soon everyone felt it was their birthday.  Isn’t that incredibly special?  If you want your girls to feel that unique and confident in their own skin, then you might want to help empower them by encouraging them to dress the way they feel.  Birthday girl dresses can really aid in that. And the perfect site to find them is this one.  Just take your mouse and start clicking.  And be sure to read the fun stories along the way.  They even have a free podcast, so you can take their adventures with you.  It’s ideal for keeping your kids occupied during travel.  Shop here for loads of fun.
